ABOUT US

The Colorado Muay Thai Association, founded in 2011, emerged after years of competing under diluted rule sets calling themselves Muay Thai. We championed our cause by establishing a traditional Muay Thai organization with a mission to provide a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly environment for competitive amateur Muay Thai. We operate by bringing the community together, maintaining the highest level of integrity, and welcoming everyone with open arms. We pride ourselves as trailblazers in Colorado, having played a pivotal role in obtaining approval from state regulators to recognize traditional Muay Thai rule sets. This effort allows our athletes to fully practice the art, opening up global opportunities. In 2022, we partnered with the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA) to expand our influence and standardize amateur competition rules, focusing on authenticity. Together, we are building the world's largest amateur Muay Thai League, dedicated to traditional competition. Our commitment to fostering the sport and nurturing our growing community remains unwavering.

oin us in Spring 2025 for the most epic Muay Thai Tournament in the Western US, open to ages 6 and up! Exciting news this year: all A-Class Athletes have the chance to launch their future careers. Do you have what it takes to compete with the best in the world? Our 2025 Tournament is the first in the Western US to be an official qualifier for the 2025 ISKA Amateur Muay Thai World Championship, to be held in October 2025 in Brisbane, Australia. This is the opportunity of the year! Each year, we strive to unite the community and raise the bar, providing the ultimate experience for both athletes and spectators. This year, we are hosting a two-day event that you won't want to miss. All brackets will feature 8-man competitions, with preliminary bouts on Saturday and all Championship bouts on Friday. Not interested in competing? Calling all Muay Thai enthusiasts to come and cheer on your favorite academy, competitor, or simply enjoy a full day of non-stop Muay Thai action. Each year, we strive to unite the community and elevate the sport.
