What to include for experience?
Please include all experience as your total number of “fights” This is both sanctioned and non sanctioned matches across fighting sports. Smokers, sanctioned matches, point kickboxing, mma and boxing. If it is experience please disclose it.
What are the weight classes?
We use standard Muay Thai weight classes. You can view the weight classes and select the best one for you when you register. You will put in your age, sex, experience and weight and the recommended weight bracket will populate.
Who can participate?
Registration is open to everyone ages 6 and up who are interested in competing under Muay Thai Rule set. All competitors must be licensed with the Colorado Muay Thai Association. (please note this is seperate from DORA and is overseen by the ISKA)
The license fee is included as a part of the registration as outlined in the online process. The license will good through the CMTA fight season which run from annual tournament to annual tournament. Participating in the tournament as a fighter or coach gets you the best value for that license one full year. It is good for all events under the Colorado Muay Thai Association.
Your license fee is non refundable and is not included in the non questions asked refund insurance process.
All licenses will be processed digitally you will receive a unique link after registration to create your digital ID. They are delivered from no-reply@passkit.io make sure you mark this email address as safe, check your junk/spam. Please make sure you save your digital ID to your phone so you have access at weigh ins. Please do not wait until weigh ins to locate your ID.

I registered for one weight class but I need to change that weight class now that I have been training how do I change my registration?
In order to provide everyone with a world class experience we do expect everyone to weigh in to their registered weight class. Weight class changes prior to December 27th can be done through the Kihapp registration site free of charge. After that time a fee will be incurred:
Dec 27th-Feb 6th 2025 $25.00 Administration Fee
Feb 7th - Feb 21st $45.00 Administration Fee
Feb 22nd - Day of weigh ins $65.00 Administration Fee
If you do not change your registration and weigh-in outside of your weight class you could be forfeiting your Registration fee.
Dec 27th forward please click on Store and Select “Bracket Change”. Follow the instructions, pay the fee and your registration will be updated.
I am injured and cannot compete, what now?
Injuries happen. In a tournament scenario there are many other competitors that are relying on the registered competitors. We suggest being intentional and purposeful in training so you can minimize risk. We are offering a registration insurance this year which you can utilize through Jan 31st no questions asked. If however you are injured and unable to participate in the event after Jan 31st we ask that you respectfully contact us so we can remove you from the bracket and someone else can have the opportunity to take your place. If you did not opt for the insurance or it is after the no questions asked date your registration will be exchanged for a ticket to watch the live action.
No one signed up in my weight bracket what happens to my registration?
Brackets will be consolidated beginning Feb 7th. Registration will close on Feb 21st. If there is no one in your bracket we will reach out and offer for you to move up or down a bracket free of charge. If we are unable to make something work for you your registration will be refunded.
My coach says I cannot compete, can I get a refund?
All registrations are final sale and non refundable unless otherwise noted above. We recommend that you discuss competing with your coach prior to signing up for the event to compete.
Tell me more about blood work, what do I need and where do I go to get it?
All fighters 18+ will require a combative trio blood work panel. This is to test for HepB, HepC and HIV. You can get this at your primary care physician, Labcorp or even specialty clinics. A quick google search should be able to locate a center near you. Blood work results must be within one year of the end of the tournament, March 2nd 2025. If you have current blood work that can provided as proof, there is no need to get it done again. Proof that you are negative for the above can be emailed to CMTACOLORADO@GMAIL.COM we will respond acknowledging that it has been received. Please allow up to 72 hrs for that response.
Do I need to take a pregnancy test?
All female competitors of mensuration age of 12+ must complete a pregnancy test. This will be completed at weigh ins. This means you may need to be prepared to accommodate the extra time it will take for you to rehydrate and use the restroom.
When and where are weigh-ins?
Weigh-Ins will begin at 9 AM at the Douglas County Event Center, make arrangements to be there and on time. We pride ourselves in an efficient weigh-in and medicals process. We will not wait on a competitor to get there. If we get through our line and you are not there you will be forfeiting your registration. As we grow it becomes more important for everyone to be respectful of not only us but also the hundreds of other Competitors. You will be stepping on the scale and getting checked out by the medical staff. We increase the number of medical staff required to accomodate the number competitors. You can expect the process to take 2-3 hours please plan accordingly. We have moved to a digital ID which will further speed up the process. Dr’s so just be prepared for that.
